If you’ve done business with Conroy’s, chances are you’ve already come across Patrice – our exceptional Commercial Customer Service superstar.
Originally from Waipawa in Central Hawke’s Bay, Patrice didn’t plan on a career in removals when she began her Bachelor of Hospitality Management at university. But after seeking a change, she found herself in the industry, and hasn’t looked back since joining our Conroy crew.
“I love that every day is different and that I’m always learning something new,” she says.
“I also enjoy building ongoing relationships with our commercial customers. I work with many of them regularly, and it’s rewarding to support them through each move.”
Her top tip for a smoother move?
“Plan well. A bit of preparation goes a long way.”
Patrice brings warmth, dedication and a can-do attitude to everything she does. We’re lucky to have her on the team.
To help you get to know her a little better, we asked Patrice five quick questions. Here’s what she had to say…
- Have you always worked in the removals industry? No. I studies a Bachelor of Hospitality Management and worked in Hospitality for a couple of years after I finished studying. I was looking for a change and started here as a receptionist, then my current Commercial Customer Service roll came up.
- Is there something we’d be surprised to learn about you? I used to work as a slaughter board labourer at the freezing works while I was studying.
- Best piece of advice you’ve ever received? Not advice but something someone once said to that has stuck with me is “everyone’s reality is their own”.
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Probably the Maldives, it just looks so beautiful.
- Do you have any pets? Yes, one fur baby. Her name is Kikorangi, and she is an American Staffy.
