Meet Melinda from Melbourne
Affectionately known as Mel, she’s one of our Internal/External Sales Consultants based at the Melbourne branch. Mel has been part of the Conroy team for just over three years, but brings more than 25 years of experience in the removals industry.
Her career started with an interest in the travel industry – but instead of moving people around the world, she found herself moving their belongings! After beginning in imports, she spent a few years in exports, then moved into move management, where she discovered her passion for helping people through one of life’s biggest transitions.
Mel loves the variety of international removals – no two moves are ever the same – and enjoys learning about different parts of the world. Most of all, she loves meeting new people, supporting them through their move, and being part of the “big family” culture at Conroy.

- Do you have any pets? Yes! Bonnie the Border Collie and my “grand-dog” Harry the Golden Retriever.
- If you could have dinner with any three people, dead or alive, who would you choose? My late Mum (my best friend), Robbie Williams, and Princess Diana.
- If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go? Bali is my happy place (we’ve been many times), but Europe is on my bucket list.
- What do you like doing in your spare time? I’m an active committee member and volunteer at my boys’ footy club, helping with events, cooking, and cheering them on. I also love family time, exploring our beautiful national parks, and long walks with our dogs.
- Best advice you’ve ever received? “Treat people the way you want to be treated” and “Respect is earned, not given.”
